Alexander Gerasimov
Biography
Alexander Gerasimov is a painter, graphic artist, and installation artist. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and a full member of the Academy of Contemporary Art of St. Petersburg.
He was born in 1955 in Riga. He studied at the Fine Art Department of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute, class of design.
Since 1978, he has been living and working in Leningrad (later St. Petersburg). Alexander Gerasimov participated in more than 300 exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
